Fantasyland Expansion Competiton - Time to vote

I would love to see a Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs ride (as I don't think Snow White is getting her own house like the other Princesses) The ride would go through the mine where the dwarfs work. It will start with them going off to work singing heigh-ho then they will sing dig, dig, dig and start working in the mine digging for jewels. The end of the ride will take you to a store area where you can purchase Jewellery boxes and treasure chests and fill them up with "precious jewels" and there will be real Silver and gold Disney Jewellery for Mummy and Daddy to buy!

Princess and the Frog Ride
This ride will be placed towards the Liberty square edge of Fantasy land and will further add to the transition between the 2 lands. (quick concept art sketches to accompany description below)

Ride scenes


1.The ride starts with guest loading from the dock into mini steam paddlers, to add to the atmosphere of the ride the lights on the side will light up so when you see other boats in scenes further on it will add to the bustling river boat feel of that era. The cast members in the load area will be wearing engine room uniforms worn in line with which would have been worn on the steamers (similar to the uniforms of the liberty bell)


2.The ride begins as a gentle drift down the river past the grand houses  including the La Bouff residence where you can see in silhouette Eudora (Tiana's mum) making a dress with the 2 girls sat on the floor. You can hear her tell the girls that “when the princess kissed the frog  he became a handsome prince”


3.Then you flow through to see Tiana's neighbourhood and outside her house you see everyone eating her Gumbo(anamatronics) and they are all singing and laughing.


4.Things become dark as you turn a corner and you find yourself in Dr Facilier's place. Your boat enters through a big red curtain that uses a similar effect to Davy Jones on Pirates of the Caribbean where they are projected on to a mist screen.  Boats go left and right and stop momentarily to view the scene with the lights of the surrounding boats adding to the eerie atmosphere. The room is lit with black lights so the voodoo masks show up in vibrant neon colours. You see the transformation on Prince Naveen into the frog, this will happen  in a similar way to the Wizard of Oz scene in the great movie ride where the wicked witch disappears. The anamatronic of Naveen goes into the floor and his frog form slides into place. The ride vehicles continue on their way out of the tented room and go down a small starlit incline to represent the fact you are now frog size.


5.The next scene displays the costume party at the La Bouff residence, you float past all the guest and tables which are oversized as you are now frog sized. At the end of this passage you see Tiana Kissing the frog version of Naveen on a balcony. Guests are then dropped down another small incline under the balcony. This is where a photo is taken, at the end of the ride when you view the photo both you and your companion's faces have been framed/morphed with frog faces.


6.After the small drop you enter the bayou. You see the Naveen and Tiana float past on their balloons. Your boat travels through the swamp with Alligators snapping at either side of your ride vehicle. Next you meet Louis who is playing his trumpet, then suddenly the frog catchers turn up and chase you through the swamp.


7.As the shouts of the frog catchers fade you are surrounded with loads of beautiful different coloured bottles suspended from the ceiling projecting their colours all around.  Around the corner you meet Madam Odie and her snake friend who tells you how to break the spell.


8.Upon leaving Madam Odie's house you turn a corner and you are in the middle of the Mardi Gras parade. You can see all the floats in the distance including the one with Charlotte marrying the fake Naveen. The anamatronic of Lawrence (who from the back still looks like Naveen) turns to face the audience and you see he is starting to turn back into his normal form.


9.As you continue out of the parade it starts to get dark again and you find yourself in the graveyard where Dr Facilier's friends from the other side are collecting their debt by sucking him into their world. This scene will also be black lit to emphasise the mystical voodoo powers. You escape the graveyard but you are still frog sized.


10.You go down another shallow incline and you are back in the bayou there are stars and fireflies all around and as you float by you see Mama Odie marrying Naveen and Tiana in their frog forms surrounded by the bayou creatures. You go through a tunnel of stars (similar to the one you went through when you were shrunk).


11.You enter out into Tiana's Palace (the restaurant she has always dreamed of opening) and are greeted by Tiana and Naveen in their human form and everything is back to normal size.


12.You are now at the end of the ride and if you look to your left you will see the restaurant. This will be a fully functioning restaurant where guest can eat, the entertainment in the restaurant will be a live band as well as a full sized Louis animatronic which will be part of Disney's Living character initiative. Guest exit to the right assisted by cast members dressed in waiter uniforms to be in keeping with restaurant theme. Upon exiting there will be photo screens displaying the ride images as well as a door on the left where you can enter the restaurant.
