WHO ATE ALL THE PIES..NOT ME !

I am sorry but I saw this and immediately thought, WOW and I knew I had to post it here.

My love of Celebration and pies, was this really God tormenting me, knowing that I could not be there….

Or his/her way of saying, come on over Juz look at what it is like over here, get your skates on lad..

So if anyone else is over there and wants to sample the piey delights of Celebration, here is all the info. But please spare a thought for me 4K miles away and pie-less..

For the ninth year in a row, the town of Celebration, Florida will become the Pie Capital of the World April 24th and 25th when thousands of pie lovers, tasters and bakers gather together the Great American Pie Festival sponsored by Crisco®. The highlight, as always, will be the Never-Ending Pie Buffet, featuring award-winning pie, ice cream, toppings and beverages from some of our fine sponsors!

Last year, pie lovers from across the country were treated to sweet offerings by Bakers Square Restaurants and Pies, Bonert’s Slice of Pie, California Raisin Marketing Board, J. Horner’s Desserts, Key West Key Lime Pie Company, Kroger’s Private Selection, Publix Super Markets, Inc., Rocky Mountain Pies, Schwan’s Bakery featuring Edwards and Mrs. Smith’s Pies, Smucker’s Toppings, The Folger Coffee Company, Velda Farms, Village Inn and Wick’s Pies.

Thousands of children made their own pies at the Crisco Kids Creation Station. There was pie decorating, pie scaping, pie tin art and many more pie activities to enjoy. The Piecasso Demonstration Stage sponsored by Village Inn and Bakers Square Restaurants featured entertainment and baking demonstration by chefs such as Crisco’s John Michael Lerma.

Of course, no pie festival would be complete without a Pie Eating Contest.
